The BJP candidate from the Jhansi Lok Sabha constituency, Uma Bharti who had won the seat in 2014 with a margin of 1, 90, 4 67 by defeating her nearest SP rival, Chandrapal Singh Yadav, had established a lead of 52354 votes in the Lalitpur assembly segment.
